A large sycamore tree with its approximately 800.000 leaves, for example, can bind up to 5 tons of dust per year and at the same time filters bacteria, fungal spores and CO2 from the air. In addition, it produces around 11,000 liters of oxygen every day and evaporates up to 1,500 -1,800 liters of water on a hot day.
